Corona Dilemas I

What’s next? Even people who have made plans and stuck to them every year are asking themselves the question.

There’s been a breaking point, and it seems we don’t want to take notice. The world is born and dies from time to time, a certain degree of continuity is maintained. We want to believe that we are the protagonists of these deaths and rebirths, at least in the past we lived the illusion and put it in our history books.

We love to think we are in control of historical changes

In March, a sledgehammer, a big sledgehammer fell on the whole world and we are still dazed, we try to keep on joining the patterns of the past, however they do not fit, because nothing is theirs. Maybe this is what we were looking for and the cost in unemployment and lives was going to be even higher, no one can say. However, poisoned by the prejudices of previous times and tempted to kick the plank, to create a great storm and to draw from it a new outline of a luminous humanity, we walked through a desert asking for answers. In deserts, the future is always revealed. The exodus continues, our human condition is exile and we live with nostalgia for what was, a kind of golden age of something we did not know.

We will not know for sure what the next Mars or hell will be – certainty has always been a misleading word, but the solution of continuity has produced civilizations with more elaborate ethical meanings. Because when it comes to technology and science, we advance by leaps and bounds, not so in ethics, and yet we advance – many will say at a snail’s pace. And so, where are we going?
